Our pink salt is a combination of solar-evaporated Australian Sea salt and solar-dried pink Alaea Hawaiian sea salt. Alaea Hawaiian sea salt has been traditionally mixed with pink Alaea clay from the Hawaiian islands, making it naturally dense in trace elements and a pretty shade of pink. Ancient Hawaiians refer to it as a sacred health salt.
Our Premier Pink Salt is unrefined, untreated, and solar-dried. It contains trace minerals that you won't find in ordinary table salt. Everyone we know that has switched from table salt to Premier Pink Salt has never returned to the dark side. It tastes great, you can use less, and feel great about your salt intake!
This salt does not supply iodide, a necessary nutrient.
Our Pink Salt does not contain any flowing agents, additives, or anti-clumping agents. We think that stuff is disgusting!
