The Truth About Kiwis
My aunt taught me to eat kiwis with the skin on. They are much quicker to prepare this way. In a study of 6- and 7-year-old children in Italy, the more citrus or kiwi fruit the children consumed, the less likely they were to have respiratory-related problems including wheezing, shortness of breath or night coughing. Kiwi is an excellent source of vitamin C, fiber, potassium, magnesium, copper, phosphorous and vitamins E and A. Those with a history of kidney stones should limit their consumption.
